After Peace Corps, Carly and her husband moved back to Portland, started a family, and decided to put down roots in Forest Grove, Oregon. Her daughter and son have gone through Montessori. Carly is grateful to help guide children using the Montessori method and to expand the reach of Montessori education into the Forest Grove community and beyond.

Hillory Hawley

Assistant Guide

Hillory is a mother of 3 and has been coaching gymnastics since 2008. She was a competitive gymnast as a child, and her interest was reignited when her, at the time, 3-year-old daughter started preschool gymnastics class. She fell in love with the process of teaching skills and seeing the small steps turn not only into skills but confidence and a belief that they can do what they set their mind to. She loves seeing the progress of learning from the beginning steps to mastery and is enjoying the same progress unfolding in the Montessori classroom.
